Programming a computer, and not just using it, has become a fundamental skill that every person needs to have in the 21st century. Since computers are everywhere in our lives, understanding how the programs we use are developed will be useful. We also need basic programming skills to solve some of the problems in our lives with the aid of computers. Recent developments in computer technologies and programming languages have enabled high schools and middle schools to offer programming courses. This course teaches basic subjects in computer programming such as algorithm, variable, basic data types and structures, conditional statements, loops, functions, and input/output methods using the relatively easier to learn Python language.
NOTE: Students are required to bring their own laptops to attend.
