Frequently Asked Questions

All students currently registered in a high school are eligible to attend all of our programs. 

Applications to the Sabancı University summer programs are made online through the website.

  • Digital scan of student certificate (if graduated, high school diploma)
  • Photo
  • Scans of the front and back of a government-issued photo ID.
  • Student Information Form to be downloaded here
  • Letter of Permission for completion by the student's parent, downloaded here

After you are accepted, you will need to upload the required documents by using the link in the acceptance message and send them to the adress specified in the same mail,

If registration to Summer Schools is withdrawn before the deadline of May 1, 2023, a final registration fee of TL 1000 will be collected and the balance will be refunded after the registration period is complete. No refunds will be made after the program has been started.

Children and siblings of Sabancı University employees, students or graduates will be eligible for a 20% discount.

Summer School students will stay on the Sabancı University campus for the duration of the school. Please click here for more information about accommodation at Sabancı University.

We will have shuttles from Sabiha Gökçen Airport to Sabancı University on July 2, July 16 and July 30 at the following times. Our assistants will greet students with "Sabancı University Summer High School" placards at the domestic termina exit.

Students registered for the July 3 - July 14, 2023 term can check in to their dormitories as of 10:00 on July 2, 2023. They must have checked out of their rooms by 17:00 on July 14, 2023 the latest.

Students registered for the July 17 - 28 2023 term can check in to their dormitories as of 10:00 on July 16, 2023. They must have checked out of their rooms by 17:00 on July 28, 2023 the latest.

Students registered for the July 31 -August 11, 2023 term can check in to their dormitories as of 10:00 on July 30, 2023. They must have checked out of their rooms by 17:00 on Friday, August 11, 2023 the latest.

The medium of instruction is English in the Summer High School (English) and English Summer School.

Academic requirements ensure a safe and useful Summer Program for everyone.

You are required to attend the courses for which you are registered. Students who miss two lessons will not be given a completion certificate for that course. Students who miss three lessons will be reported to their parents and expelled from the school.

In order to leave the campus, students must submit a written request by a parent, upon which our office will speak to the family to decide. Students who leave the campus without permission shall be expelled immediately.

You are also required to adhere to dormitory rules to attend school. Accordingly: You must obtain permission from the administration for having parties with 6 or more people, and be in your rooms by midnight. Students who are in possession of alcohol on their persons or rooms, or are found in rooms where there is alcohol present shall be expelled immediately.

Students who destroy property in classrooms, dormitory rooms and common areas shall be expelled immediately and the damage shall be recovered from the student.

A final registration fee of TL 1000 will be collected and the balance will be refunded after the registration deadline of May 1, 2023. No refunds will be made for cancellations after the program has been started.
